Pesticide Use Notification

Products currently being used on Toledo School District grounds are Cornerstone Plus, Crossbow, SprayPak Wasp, Bee, and Hornet Killer, and d-CON Bait Pellets II Kills Mice. These products are applied by our trained grounds maintenance and custodial staff and applied to classrooms, restrooms, food handling area, offices, buses, playgrounds, and athletic fields. School Board Policy #6895 states that written notice of the application of pesticide to school facilities or school grounds will be given to parents and staff at least 48 hours in advance. Notice will be posted 48 hours in advance at the main office of the building affected. The District shall comply with all legal requirements for record keeping regarding the application of pesticides to school grounds or school facilities.
